Interchangeability - The equipment shall meet the interchangeability require-
ments as defined in Specification MIL-T-21200.
3.2.4
Interference Control - The generation of radio interference by the equipment
and the vulnerability of the equipment to radio interference shall be controlled within the limits
of Specification MIL-I-6181.
Nomenclature and Nameplates - Nomenclature assignment and nameplate

Standard Conditions - The following conditions shall be used to establish nor-
mal performance characteristics under standard conditions and for making laboratory bench

Service Conditions - The test equipment shall operate satisfactorily under
any of the environmental service conditions or reasonable combination of these conditions as
specified in Specification MIL-T-21200 for Class 3 equipment, except as modified herein.
3.2.8
Primary Input Power Requirements - This equipment has no appreciable
input power requirements of its own, but shall serve to connect the primary input power to the
equipment under test.
Voltage Protection - The equipment shall not be damaged when exposed to

transient voltages as defined in MIL-STD-704, and shall automatically resume normal operation
when the voltage returns within limits of normal operation.
3.3
Performance - The performance of the equipment shall be as set forth below.
Unless otherwise specified, these requirements shall apply under both standard and extreme
service conditions, When reduced performance requirements for service conditions are accept-
able, such variation will be specified.
3.4
Detail Requirements
3.4.1
Workbench Mounted Components - The Test Harness Workbench Components
shall meet the following requirements:
Function - The Test Harness Workbench Components consist of a terminal

panel, brackets and fixtures for mounting the radar system components to be serviced or tested.
In addition, manually operated synchros provide roll, pitch and compass excitation voltages to
simulate the functions of Stabilization Data Generator CN-221/APN-59, for Antenna
AS-653/APN-59.

Form Factor - The Test Harness Workbench components are mounted on a
standard Navy Type 57A-53 Workbench which is not supplied as a part of this equipment,

Contents - The Test Harness Workbench components shall consist of the
