5.6.1.4 Operational oils. operational oils furnished with the machine, but not
placed in the machine stowage receptacles, shall be stowed in metal drum(s). Drums
shall be positioned upright inside the shipping container housing the machine.

5.6.2 Level C.
Level C packing shall be in accordance with the requirements of
MIL-STD-1190.
5.7 Marking. All marking shall be in accordance with MIL-STD-129. Bar coding is
also required in accordance with MIL-STD-129.
5.8 Workmanship. Workmanship shall be such that when proper procedure is
followed, materials and equipment being processed will be provided the maximum
protection against corrosion and deterioration consistent with the shipment hazards
known or anticipated, and suitable for long term storage.

NOTES
6.1 Intended use. The lathe covered by this specification is intended for use in
maintenance and field service shops to assist in the overhaul and repair of
automotive generators and starter motors.
6.2 Ordering data.

6.3 Contract data requirements. Required technical data such as operator's
